The creator of the DiGiorgi Collection, Thomas DiGiorgi, trained as a designer and has spent decades immersed in product and space design. For him, the eponymous collection embraces design as a way of life. His family has always celebrated the arts — visually, musically, culinarily. His Italian ancestors owned bakeries in Italy for generations; his grandmother was an impeccable baker, his brother an executive chef, his grandfather a musician and woodworker. “I have the violin he made for me,” Thomas says, “I’m a designer because my family fostered my creativity. As early as I can remember, my mother instilled a dedication to the arts through museum visits, trips to the theater and myriad art classes.”

Inspired by Thomas’ passion for the arts, his Italian heritage and travels throughout the country, the DiGiorgi Collection draws from the diverse terrain, architecture and artisan traditions of Italy.
